Maitland Kelly

Maitland
Kelly is 40, married with 3 young children. He served with the
Metropolitan Police Force as a uniformed Constable from 1987 until 2001.
During this time he sustained an injury in the execution of his duty which
in
turn led him to be medically retired from the Force.
Maitland is a former member of the SNP having stood as an SNP Council Candidate for Crieff North in the 2003 local elections.
Maitland stood for Parliament for the Free Scotland Party in the 2005 General Election for Ochil and South Perthshire.
He has been involved with his local primary school for a number of years having served 4 years as Chairman of the School Board. He is currently the school boards Clerk and is a member of the School Planning Committee to plan for the transition between School Boards and Parent Forums (Parental Involvement Act 2006)
Maitland has a number
of interests. He has a keen interest in genealogy and has spent many years
researching his own and friends family history. He has a keen interest in
Fly fishing and is a member of the local angling society.
