London parties are the basket case
"Scotland's economic performance has consistently lagged behind that of the UK as a whole, because of the economic mismanagement of the scottish economy by a succession of UK governments." this was said by Jim Fairlie, Free Scotland Party candidate for Perth in the forthcoming elections on May 3rd.
Mr Fairlie continued, "Despite the natural resources with which Scotland is blessed, a combination of the Labour, Lib/Dems and Tories have successfully squandered those resources to the point where those parties of government tell us that Scotland is now an economic basket case, completely incapable of governing itself. If they believe that is true, they are the ones responsible, but despite their performance in government, they are asking to be re-elected so that they can continue with their good work. You could not make it up."
"Scotland is not only capable of governing itself, it desperately needs to govern itself, to take advantage of its own potential and benefit from the dignity and self-confidence that independence would bring. The Free Scotland Party stands for an independent Scotland, free from both the UK and the EU because there is no point in ridding ourselves of government from London in order to swap it for government from Brussels."
"We can make a start by ridding Scottish business of much of the bureaucracy that emanates from Holyrood, London and Brussels, by cutting business rates and corporation tax, by creating the kind of Scotland that encourages enterprise and skill, rather than the bloated public sector beloved of the current Scottish Executive."
Mr Fairlie concluded, "Scotland needs to change radically and that change will only come through independence."
