The EU Constitution fell when the French and Dutch voters voted it down. BUT with the EU Reform Treaty our political leaders are bringing in the EU Constitution by the back door shorn of the name, a few symbols but with 90% of the content! Free Scotland says ask the people, hold a referendum!

Contact your Councillors, MP, MEPs, MSPs at www.writetothem.com and ask them their position on the EU Reform Treaty (Constitution) and their parties position. Elected politicians are there to represent us, they react to pressure on issues, make sure that they know they have to take a position on a referendum and that they have to defend that position.

Statement on London Bombings 07 07 05:

"The Free Scotland Party is a democratic organisation, opposed to violence in any form. Therefore, we condemn the actions of those who planted and set off the bombs on the Tube trains and the London bus on Thursday. No belief is worth killing for, never mind innocent individuals whose only crime was trying to get to their work. Our sympathies are with the dead, the injured and with the families of the dead and injured and their friends.

Free Scotland has an argument to make about an Independent Scotland outwith the uropean Union, we will continue to make that argument with persuasion as our only weapon."
